“Throughout my career in medicine I have acquired extensive experience in both the culture and business of medicine. I always had a certain passion for the science of medicine and found my studies exciting, I entered medicine when the healthcare delivery system was already undergoing significant change.
“In addition to Internal Medicine and Pulmonology, I also worked in Geriatrics making house calls and eventually extended my work into aesthetic medicine, providing non-surgical facial rejuvenation. I have also taken a strong interest in the cultural aspects of healthcare delivery, and being fluent in Spanish was uniquely qualified to reach out and be available for those within the Latino community.
“Very early in my career I began teaching others heading into my same field. I also saw many opportunities and interest in working with others in the healthcare field and assisted them in understanding their own healthcare delivery business by helping them see the importance of placing patients first. It’s been the goal of all my work to help prioritize patient care in both the practice and business of medicine. I take great satisfaction in helping patients and providers daily.”
