“I’ve spent over eight years in hospital settings in Telemetry, Cardiology,
Emergency medicine, Family practice, Internal medicine, OB/GYN and
Pediatrics. I’ve also done extensive outpatient work and I’m familiar with all
varieties of diagnosis, clinical management, counseling and therapeutics,
preventative medicine, family planning, women’s health and gynecology.
I’ve also worked on implementing detoxification protocols for patients with
addiction to drugs, alcohol, and tobacco and I have counseled patients
with HIV and other infectious disease. I feel my wide and diverse
background has given me a unique perspective on helping people work to
improve their health and their lives.

“I cannot be happier with the decisions I’ve made over my life in terms of
career and pursuing my synthesis of medical science and hands-on
clinical treatment of patients. My interests and practice settings have been
diverse – both in hospital and clinic settings. I find that while each setting is
unique in its overall approach and flavor of care, I have been able to thrive
in all environments. While I have a strong interest in all areas of medicine,
Neurology seems very much at home to me.

“We treat a number of the same chronic illnesses that I am familiar with,
and the fact that we do see a number of pediatric patients in this practice
for issues of ADD/ADHD, epilepsy and developmental disorders such as
autism is for me a truly exciting chance to further my skill set. I pride myself
on a deep seated sense of compassion. I feel very fortunate to be able to
join a practice where I can offer an integration of my experience and
passion for medicine in a setting that will give me the opportunity to assist
patients of varying ages and backgrounds alike to achieve and maintain
better and more robust health!!”
